Economic talks 2024 in Neu-Ulm -“Kill Bureaucracy”: Reducing bureaucracy to achieve greater competitiveness”

The event was opened by Mayor Katrin Albsteiger, Chairwoman of the StadtentwicklungsverbandShe emphasized the importance of efficient administrative structures for the economy and society.
In his subsequent keynote address, Walter Nussel, member of the Bavarian State Parliament and Commissioner for Bureaucracy Reduction of the Bavarian State Government, emphasized the urgency of the issue. Nussel explained that reducing bureaucracy can strengthen not only the economy but also citizens' trust in politics. He cited concrete examples from Bavaria where the reduction of unnecessary regulations has already yielded positive results.

Following this, leading representatives of the region discussed the challenges and opportunities of reducing bureaucracy in a panel discussion. In addition to Mayor Katrin Albsteiger and State Parliament Member Walter Nussel, Alexander Kulitz, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Regional Assembly, also participated.
