Under the title “Quo vadis Ulm economic region/Neu-UlmThe economic talks of the [organization/group] took place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in the Kornhaus in Ulm. Stadtentwicklungsverbands Ulm/Neu-Ulm instead. The focus was on how the common economic area can utilize its strengths and master future challenges.

Ulm and Neu-Ulm They are structurally excellently positioned: A balanced industry landscape, strong medium-sized companies, the science city with its university and colleges, and numerous research institutes form a stable foundation. Many companies are investing strategically in innovative projects and the expansion of their sites – both regionally and internationally.

Following the welcome address by Martin Ansbacher, Mayor of Ulm and Chairman of the StadtentwicklungsverbandProfessor Dr. Dr. Dr. hc Franz Josef Radermacher, board member of FAW/n and member of the Club of Rome, provided food for thought with his keynote address. In the subsequent panel discussion, moderated by Karl Spannenberger (BR Swabia), Mayor Katrin Albsteiger, Mayor Martin Ansbacher, Dr.-Ing. Peter Gluche, Gabriele Renner, and Professor Radermacher discussed perspectives and solutions for the regional economy.

Mayor Katrin Albsteiger emphasized: "We want to utilize the economic strength of our cities and find solutions together that will ensure long-term growth and stability."

Finally, the audience actively participated in the open discussion – a clear sign of the shared interest in Ulm as a business location.Neu-Ulm to make it fit for the future.
