The long-established family business Uldo Backmittel from Schwaighofen has been active in the production of baking ingredients since 1960. In the 1980s, the company expanded, increased its production capacity, and began to grow internationally.

Uldo Baking Ingredients is a modern company that has remained true to its roots while keeping pace with the times. The company combines traditional craftsmanship with innovation, relying on natural, high-quality raw materials and sustainable production methods. In addition to traditional baking ingredient production, the company also addresses current trends and requirements, such as gluten-free and vegan products. Through its comprehensive product range and close collaboration with customers,
The company Uldo Backmittel is an important partner for the baking and confectionery trade.

During a visit to the Uldo baking ingredients factory, Mayor Katrin Albsteiger immersed herself in the world of baking ingredient production.

The company founded in 2016 water drop has one of its production sites in Neu-UlmMore precisely, in the Starkfeld industrial park. Waterdrop aims to create a healthy and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional soft drinks. They use neither sugar nor plastic bottles. Instead, Waterdrop relies on small, sugar-free beverage cubes, so-called "microdrinks," which dissolve in water. With their natural extracts, the cubes give the water a fruity and refreshing taste and also contain vitamins, electrolytes, and even natural caffeine. Waterdrop offers a wide selection of beverage cubes in various flavors.

Drink more water while avoiding plastic – that's Waterdrop's mission. During her visit to the company, Mayor Katrin Albsteiger was able to sample some of the different flavors.

A major advantage of compressed microdrinks is that they require very little packaging. Their lightweight and space-saving transport allows the company to significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
Waterdrop's goal is to continuously improve its products and processes in order to further reduce its environmental footprint. The company is also committed to various environmental projects such as reforestation initiatives and water projects.

Waterdrop initially launched in the Austrian market and soon expanded to other countries. Thanks to clever marketing and a focus on sustainable and healthy nutrition, the company grew rapidly. Today, Waterdrop is successful not only in Europe but also internationally and continues to expand steadily.
