Cyberattacks are steadily increasing and don't stop at small businesses. SMEs, in particular, often underestimate their vulnerability and are therefore especially attractive to attackers. Time and again, it becomes clear that security isn't solely determined by technology, but primarily by people as the first line of defense. Traditional awareness training, however, often stops at simply conveying information and achieves only limited, lasting effects. Interactive formats address this issue directly and strengthen security awareness in the long term.

Together with our partner, CarByte Engineering GmbH, we invite you to our interactive Capture the Flag cybersecurity event. Experience how games, competitions, and "aha!" moments create genuine cybersecurity awareness.

What awaits you:
"Capture the Flag" events offer a practical and motivating way to playfully train cybersecurity and awareness skills. Working in teams, you'll solve realistic tasks related to typical attack methods such as phishing, social engineering, and the secure handling of digital information, experiencing firsthand how security risks arise in everyday work. No prior knowledge is required.

Here's what you'll take with you:

• Competence building: Promoting practical skills in realistic cybersecurity scenarios and learning modern defense techniques
• Teamwork & Problem Solving: Improving teamwork and playfully developing analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Cybersecurity awareness: Raising cybersecurity awareness within the company through the practical teaching of cybersecurity measures and preparation for potential threats.

The CTF event combines learning, competition and team spirit – making cybersecurity tangible, relevant and effective.

Participation and organization:

The event will take place if there are at least 20 participants.
